Clifton Hill Stray Cats

A team that has evolved from the "World Famous" Clifton Hill Cricket Club based in metro Melbourne. This year will see the "World Famous" Stray Cats take to the field for their 8th consecutive CM Sixes event.

Originally a team that was built out of blokes that could no longer score runs higher than their age, the Stray Cats are now a youthful team, however due to the CM nightlife, they too struggle to score runs more than their age.

A talented bunch of cricketers that have always looked likely but consistently never fail to disappoint their die hard supporters. You never know, maybe 2018 might see a early night that could be the difference. http://www.cliftonhillcricketclub.com

Clifton Hill Stray Cats Players

  • Daniel "Shawry" Shaw

A Chiang Mai vet, this will be Danial’s first trip as a Clifton Hiller. Big things will be expected from the big money import. Hopefully he goes alright at cricket too. Like Mel Gibson in the movie Gallipoli, you can be sure that Shawry will be first on the battlefield at night and last to bed as the sun rises each morning. Looking forward to some big hitting from the big guy this week.

  • Jeff "Jeffris" Lyons

Kiwi Jeffris is old. He's back for the 88th time. He'll be the voice of reason amongst a lot of unreasonable voices. Loves cricket and podiums.

  • Josh "JP" Barnett

Another Kiwi back for his 3rd tour after a couple years off to recover from his 1st CM trip. It's fair to say the nightlife got the better of him the last two times and we aren't expecting anything different from his this time round.

  • Matthew "Multi" Lynas

Another tour virgin, we are all hoping for big things from Matt, of course we all wish it was is sister coming rather than him so he better hit some bombs.

  • Peter "Foss" Foster

Pete is our virgin Pom. Hopefully the on field success he has had in Australia can transfer into some off field form in Thailand.

Clifton Hill Stray Cats Supporters

  • Mark "Simmo" Simmonds

Another Pom. The Simdog is making his long awaited return. We can’t wait to see Simmo so he can annoy the crap out of us with the rhino and his sarcastic words of encouragement.
